How I Lost Myself… Over and Over Again (And What I Did to Finally Come Home to Me)
Hi lovely,
if you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’ve landed on this page. I want to share my story so you can get to know the real me, not just the qualifications and wellness tips, but the journey that brought me here, and why I’m so passionate about helping other women feel whole again.
The Beginning of My Health Obsession
My love for health started young, but it turned into an obsession around age 17, during my final years of high school. I had just moved states, was trying to fit in, and my body was changing fast.
I had always been the long-legged, skinny girl who could eat anything. But suddenly, my hips, thighs, and boobs were growing and I panicked. I was an aspiring dancer, and in my mind, my changing body didn’t belong on stage.
That’s when I downloaded MyFitnessPal. I started tracking every calorie, punishing myself for eating certain foods, and doing 50 star jumps in my room to “burn off” a donut. My period disappeared for 5 months. When it finally returned, it hit me hard, I was in excruciating pain, vomiting from cramps, passing clots (TMI, I know), and ended up in hospital. The solution? Birth control. A quick fix. A band-aid.
Motherhood, Hashimoto’s & Losing Myself (Again)
Fast forward to age 23. I came off the pill and was hit with severe breakouts and painful periods. Then I fell pregnant, quickly…And all those symptoms faded into the background. But after having my beautiful daughter, the pain and hormonal chaos returned. And soon after, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease that triggered even more fatigue, confusion, and self-doubt.
I had another baby not long after, thinking it would be “easier” to care for my kids than to face myself. But we all know the truth you can’t run from what’s inside.
When "Looking Healthy" Isn’t the Same as Being Well
On the outside, I looked like I had it all together. I was running my own business, helping other women with their skin, energy, and cycles. I had become a certified nutritionist, a women’s fasting coach, and an internationally certified functional hormone specialist. My periods were no longer painful. My endometriosis had healed. I was on the bare minimum medication for my thyroid.
But inside… I still felt empty.
Because I had never actually done the inner work.
I hadn’t touched the root of my low self-worth.
I hadn’t stopped to ask: Who am I, really?
The Real Healing? Rediscovering Me
I realised I’d spent so many years trying to help others while completely abandoning parts of myself. The funny, loud, silly, passionate parts of me, the ones I’d hidden because I was afraid of being “too much” or not being taken seriously.
But something inside me cracked open. I decided to rip the bandaid off.
No more masking. No more shrinking.
I don’t want to get to the end of my life having played small just to fit in. I want to be all of me. And I want that for you, too.
What I Now Know to Be True
I’ve seen this over and over again, in myself, and in the women I’ve worked with.
We clear up the skin. We balance the hormones. We reduce the pain and bring back energy. But if your self-worth is still crumbling, if you’re still feeling lost in your identity, you’ll always be searching for “more.”
That’s why I created The Reborn Collective.
Because women, especially mums, deserve to feel seen, supported, and free to become the woman they truly are underneath the layers of “shoulds” and societal expectations.
This is the work I do now:
🖤 Helping women reduce painful periods and balance their hormones
🖤 Guiding women to reconnect with their bodies and honour their natural cycles
🖤 Supporting mums who feel like they’ve lost themselves to remember who they are
🖤 Coaching women to rebuild self-worth, set boundaries, and come home to themselves
So yes — I’ll help you sort your periods and get your energy back.
But more than that?
I’ll help you rediscover who the f*** you are — and start living in your power.
